I LOVE this halo hair extension. I would totally give it five stars but it’s got an embedded odor that I can’t get rid of. I didn’t smell it when I first opened it but then I took it to the salon with me to get it washed/trimmed/styled. When I got home I noticed the smell that got worse over the next two weeks to the point I brought it back to my hairdresser and she washed it again (and styled it). I smelled it after she washed/dried it and it smelled fine. She styled it, I put it in and went home. Smelled the odor again that same day. I lived with it for about a month, only wearing it a few times (and my hairdresser is on maternity leave) and just washed it myself yesterday. I used a rosemary mint shampoo, twice, then I used Dove antibacterial hand soap, three times. Then I used Herbal Essences bio renew hair mask and let that sit on the hair for about 10 minutes (it is very fragrant). I blow dried the halo on the lowest temp setting and the hair smelled amazing. I used the flat iron to put a few curls in it and omg the smell is back!! It’s caused by the heat of the styling tools!! But why?!? I wouldn’t order another halo from this brand again, which is such a bummer because I love the hair. The color was a perfect match (my stylist has said so every time I bring it to her) and the hair is of good quality. There isn’t much shedding and besides the smell (moldy) this is a five star halo.I recently ordered the higher cost brand for halo which was near $300 but I figured I won't be using it every day and not too long since I change my color very often. I came across this brand and the most I liked about was that this brand had more than 100g hair option and the length was longer than other ones. I do wish this brand has 24inch + length but still 22 is great for the length and volume. I have light hair thickness on top and got that bit of blunt thick cut on the bottom but it still blends pretty well considering the photo I have attached is me wearing the halo extension straight out of the package. You can see that the hair I received got pretty good thickness from top to bottom. I do wish it offers more than the gram they have. Maybe about 150-180g to cover medium to thick hair individuals. Well..I will have to see how the extension holds up after washing and couple uses but for the price I paid, I think it is a good purchase. I recently purchased clip in extensions from different company but I think I will be using halo way more than clip ins. Hated the bulkiness and hair pulling from clip in since I got that think hair ..but this is so light and comfortable. I do recommend. I have purchased many extensions in my life lol and I really like this one. BTW not even sponsored nor was asked to leave a review. I just think this was a great purchase for me. Fuller hair makes me feel like a boss ladyyy lol!I love this company. I have been using them for some time and the hair is always EXCEPTIONAL! ITS THE ONLY HAIR I USE !!!Got the 16 in ombré and the hair itself is really pretty and soft and good quality. Matches my hair great! My only feedback is the strip that attaches to the head is long, almost doesn’t fit around my head and the string was so annoying (too tight on the largest setting) I just removed it. I wish the clips were closer to the ends of the strips because without the string they kind of stick out so I have to clip them down. My last gripe is one of the clips (one the end) will NOT grab hair. I don’t know if it’s defective or what but another reason I had to pin it. But it looks VERY natural and will buy again as needed. Hopefully they adjust product if enough people review if they have the same issues.Pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this hair. I have worn various types of extensions for the past 10 years. I have layered this and added low lights with little shedding and no tangles at all. There is a lot of hair so it feels heavy by the end of the day but looks natural and has held up through daily wear and daily curling iron. Holds curl well. Comes with extra clips and extra wire. I would highly recommend-great value.I've never touched an extension in my life so this is a good way to start. Im not ready for the commitment and $$$ of tape ins. These are beautiful and easy to use BUT my only complaint is they are a little TOO shiny like plastic barbie hair shiny. It made my hair stylist skeptical if they really are human or partially synthetic.. anyway..the 22in is suuuuper long but i love it that way.. I feel so glamorous w them on Going a shade lighter on my natural hair to get a perfect color matchThe quality of the hair is amazing!! It is 100% Human Hair which is shocking for it's price point tbh. The color, cut and clip-ins are perfect. The hair is NOT sewn on cheaply or sloppily, which is definitely appreciated. There isn't any straggly hairs anywhere as the cut of the hair extensions are uniform. The hair is suuuuuuper soft. They sent extra tools (Brushes, extra clips, etc.) but the hair is so soft you can ran your fingers through it when first receiving it. From my experience it does not tangle easily either, which is usually an issue with extensions like these. It was a shot in the dark on the color so to my surprise, it matched my hair PERFECTLY!! The clip-ins and halo band provide great support! When the hair is in it does not feel like it will slip out at all which is awesome because I have extremeeeeely straight hair so I was worried about it slipping out. Here are the pics of the hair fresh out of the box. :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!It feels soft and looks real once it’s blended and trimmed. Unfortunately the clips are not very strong and the width of the head piece is so wide that I had to trim some off the sides. It’s very heavy, I’d prefer to wear it without the rubbery top part but the clips are too weak. I may have to sew new ones in.
